The Association’s Vision
Be a leading class network representing professional interests of Kenyan Design community by creating a meaningful interface between design professionals and its stakeholders including the industry, education institutions and the policy makers.
Background
The Association of Designers of Kenya is a registered professional body under provisions of the Societies Act, Chapter 108 of the Laws of Kenya to advance professional practices and promote standards of various Design disciplines in Kenya.
The Association has four chapters namely;
- Interior Design Chapter
- Graphic Design Chapter
- Product Design Chapter
- Fashion Design Chapter
As a signatory to the Montréal World Design Declaration , the Association is focused on promoting the need for strategic leadership on design
matters at local, regional, and international levels and with this, the need for governance models and policies that take account on enhance standards of professionalism, social responsibility and ethical practice in Design Profession
